Bought half a jetski

I just bought half a jet ski. This will be my jet unit for the boat. Nobody believes me when i say 'i bought half a jet ski' - they think i went halves with another guy, buying one together. So pics are needed, because it is indeed the rear half of an old jetski:

Cost: $60
Total so far: $200
Hopeful end budget: $1000
Money remaining: $800

The heart is the engine

Ok, i've decided to use a small motorbike engine as an inboard. I think i've watched too many episodes of junkyard wars / scrapheap challenge. But it'll be awesome, and outboards are just too expensive.

So, for the grand total of $140, i got this, it's a 1986ish BR250 Kawasaki:

Next up, i ripped off all the wiring and rewired it, because it wouldn't spark. Used the service manual for a KLX250, was 99% the same wiring:

And so I am currently fighting with the carby:

Expected end result

Hi everyone. I'm building a Glen-L Pee Wee. This is by build blog. Hopefully, it'll look as awesome as this one on the Glen-L web site!

So far, got a friend in the states to buy me the plans, she's bringing them over next visit (soon).
Here's the plans:

The hopeful budget is $1000, we'll see how that goes though. Should be feasible with any luck, although i suspect the trailer will push me over.
